Hope you are having a peaceful weekend.
As discussed earlier I am sending you a few links/resources to have a look at.
These are narrated by phd scholars (in not too academic way) and relate to the creation of our world, the universe, creation-evolution,young/old earth etc...
But importantly what GOD says in the first book of the Bible - the book of Genesis.
The sites are pack with resources given by degree holding scientists. (christians I must add)
This is not to debate / contradict  Islam , but to get you to have a look and see what you think (since we are only/predominantly dealing with the old testament)
It would be interesting to know if this agrees with the muslim tradition/learning/doctrine.

1. that not all christian creationist scientists are young earth creationists (but creationists nevertheless).
2. majority take old earth position I think (I personally have shifted to the young earth theory over time, since it agrees with the scriptures  more-in my non scientific opinion)
3. I personally believe that the Almighty GOD, The Creator says what he means and means what he says
